    • Pickup is included for guests staying in Moshi town only. Guests staying outside Moshi are required to inform us in advance and arrange their own transport to Moshi at their own cost. Once in Moshi, pickup for the tour will be provided as scheduled.
    What to bring

      Daypack: A small, comfortable backpack to carry your personal items.
      ​Hiking Boots: Sturdy, waterproof hiking boots with good ankle support.
      ​Clothing Layers: Wear moisture-wicking clothes and bring a warm fleece or jumper, as temperatures drop as you climb higher.
      ​Rain Gear: A waterproof jacket or poncho is essential, even on sunny days, as weather in the rainforest can change quickly.
      ​Sun Protection: Sunscreen, sunglasses, and a sun hat to protect you from high-altitude sun.
      ​Water Bottles: At least 2 liters of drinking water.
      ​Camera or Smartphone: To capture the wildlife and mountain scenery.
      ​Walking Poles: Optional, but very helpful for the descent to reduce knee strain.
      ​Personal Identification: A copy of your passport for park registration at Marangu Gate.
      ​Small Cash: For tips or any additional personal needs.
