  • Pickup Location: We pick you up from your hotel, lodge, or airport in Moshi or Arusha. Pickup Time: Typically between 7:00 AM – 9:00 AM, depending on your hotel location and travel distance to the trailhead. Private Transfers: All transfers are private; your guide will meet you at the lobby with a Hillborn Organic Coffee branded sign. Group Transfers: If traveling in a group, pickup may be combined with other trekkers from nearby hotels. What’s Provided During Transfer: Bottled water, light snacks, and a short safety briefing about the trek. Estimated Drive Time: Lemosho Gate: ~3–4 hours from Moshi / Arusha Rongai Gate: ~3–3.5 hours from Moshi / Arusha Important Notes: Please be ready at your hotel 10 minutes before the scheduled pickup. Carry only essential items for the first day; porters will carry the rest. Your guide will confirm pickup time via phone or WhatsApp the day before the trek

    Clothing and Gear
    Footwear:

    Rated for -15°C or lower.
    Pack:
    30L–35L daypack for personal items and a 70L–90L duffel bag for porters.

    Headlamp with extra batteries for the midnight summit.
